Finally made Homer click for me

I’ve tried reading The Iliad and The Odyssey before but always got lost in the language. This translation is clear and smooth while keeping the epic feel of the stories. Achilles’ fury, Hector’s honor, Odysseus’ longing for home—it all felt immediate and real. Dawson’s language flows so naturally, I forgot I was reading an ancient text. There were moments I stopped and sighed, moved by how these characters still speak to our hearts today.
