De fikk tidlig ry p seg for vre et energisk og utadvendt liveband, som skapte liv og rre blant publikum. Anne Grete Preus, Per Vestaby, Hege Rimestad, Frank B. Olsen og Jarle Brresen var kjernen i Veslefrikk, og andre musikere kom og gikk. Per og Anne Grete startet senere op gruppa Can Can.
