Pollerhof Frau Mayer Gruner Veltliner 2023Tiny 65 year old vineyard, granite soil, a wine with a back story of the owner (Frau Mayer) giving the vineyard to Erwin Poller because she had observed his treatment of the vines in a neighboring vineyard, and thus offers the vineyard to him with the stipulation that she would receive as many bottles as she wanted for personal use. That was readily accepted and since 2006, he has made small amounts of this wine. It is basically his reserve Veltliner.

Purchased for dinner on a cruise. The fit was perfect. Lightweight for the tropics. The little white pocket square can be folded down if you don’t like it. I took off a star because the color was darker than pictured. It is more of a denim blue instead of a light blue.

Comfortable and stylish
This has been wonderful. My son is a game show host and has to wear a blazer to work on game days. He throws this in the back of his car when he’s done and it’s went through a lot and still holds its shape. The colors look great and it’s comfortable. He says it doesn’t feel heavy on and is easy to take care of.
