Jimmy Doolittle "Out of the Dragons Den" by Richard Taylor, double remarque"Out of the Dragons Den" depicts a B 25 of the Doolittle Tokyo raid bombing Japanese shore installations, before heading for safety in China. The raid was a wakeup call for Japan and a foretaste of what was to come. In the US, it was a terrific moral boost after the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. The print is signed by four Doolittle raiders, Richard Cole, David Thatcher, Ed Saylor and Tom Griffin. The large double size remarque is of a B 25 Mitchell.
