Description
Directoire French Antique Chest of DrawersPetite chest of drawers from France in the Directoire style. This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are three dovetailed drawers all featuring original brass pulls and hardware. The piece has fluting down both sides and is supported by four tapered feet. It is in very nice antique condition the photos accurately depict the condition.

Smaller than expected.

The directions were complicated with only image directions. One person can put this together. It took me about an hour. The item is smaller than I expected. The image is misleading. Definitely not waist high for an adult. More like thigh height. Guess I should have paid more attention to the measurements instead of the image. It looks nice when assembled. For the price I expected something taller.
