German silver cap and ring over all cork reel seat. The rod weighs a mere 2 7 8 oz. The ferrules are size 11 64 and fit together nice and tightly.

Good quality except for the supplied bolts.

So far starter works great. Be careful if you use the supplied bolts. They are not good quality. The last thing you want to do is snap them off in the block. The starter itself really spins the engine over. If it lives long, it's a great deal for the money.
